A Jeep Thing, Old Friends...
Our former blue, 2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo has been, by far, to the most places of any of our Jeeps. The Grands' have a great ride for long road trips but at the same time have a very capable four wheel drive system that can take you well off the beaten path at a moments notice. The blue Grand also had the most toys in it of any of our vehicles at the time, all of these these things made it a no brainer for trips both long and short. In the mosaic you'll also see Tammy's rather posh 2004 Grand Cherokee Limited, a peak of her first Grand Cherokee, the maroon 2000 in the lower right (the one that got me hooked on trail and off road driving) and a white Wrangler that we rented on a business trip to Las Vegas in 2003. One thing we gave up when we traded off the Grand's was the power to tow things like our boat (the boat above we sold when we moved from Coeur d'Alene, our current boat is similar in size.) While our Rubicon's have the power to pull something that size their just too light to make it practical. We hope you enjoy our adventures...
