My home town of Saint Cloud, Minnesota as seen from the shores of Lake George in '99		I took this shot of some building severe thunderstorms on July 4th '99 while waiting for the fireworks at St Cloud's Wilson Park

The maintains south of Salt Lake City, Utah on my 1999 summer vacation.		My friend and I drove through Death Valley on that same trip and found these pretty white flowers at a small oasis.

After spending a night in Las Vegas we took a day trip through Death Valley; it was a cool 125 degrees that day. I took this picture at Death Valley's lowest point which happens to be 282' below sea level.		Enjoying the power of the ocean for the first time. The Pacific Ocean from a park near San Diego. It was a cool day in the 70's to the locals, for us with Minnesota blood it was a perfect afternoon for a swim.

Happy natural seagulls, at the sea rather than a parking lot :-)		The next day we drove out to to San Diego to visit a friend. Getting there early we spent the afternoon on the beach.
