This stream is in the same basin/valley as Old Faithful. Often vents go right up to and come out from under the water.		Once we had settled in we began exploring. This is the Schweitzer Peak Ski area in the winter of 2003.

Schweitzer was about 60 miles north of our home in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho		Schweitzer as the sun begins to set.

Lake Pend Oreille as seen from Schweitzer.		Lake Pend Oreille is so deep that the Navy has a submarine training base on it.
