We had lots of wildlife
visiting our yard in Coeur d'Alene. This buck was a
frequent visitor. January 2004 |

That April we decided to go
for a hike in
Palouse Falls State Park in central Washington |
|
Created
by the great Glacial Lake Missoula flood, Palouse Falls is the
only major waterfall left along the glacial flood path of 15,000
years ago which reshaped the entire region. |

It's hard
to pick but this is my favorite shot of Palouse Falls. |

After enjoying the falls we
hiked into the Palouse Falls back country to the head waters
just above the falls where we found these beautiful rapids. |

A closer
shot of the rapids. |
