A beautiful marbled sky presents the background for this cholla cactus		A lizard sunning itself under a cholla cactus.

The cholla cactus is sometimes called the "jumping" cactus as it very easily gets caught up in fur and clothing.		On the way home we spent a day on the south rim of the Grand Canyon.

Looking northeast.		A photograph can never do the canyon justice but its still quite pretty...

Only a small fraction of the south rim can be seen from paved road. There are however primitive roads and hiking trails for the more adventuresome.		A soaring raven over the canyon.
