Hikes & Trips Photo Album

Exploring back roads on our way to snowshoe on Mout Hood Tammy took this macro shot of some moss near a small waterfall in January of 2006.   Snowshoeing near Timberline Lodge we stopped for this photo of the very top of a tree.  The snow was 20 to 30 feet deep below our snowshoes.

Tammy trying out her new snowshoes..   Me snowshoeing.  I bought my snowshoes back when I lived in Minnesota but the snow there was never deep enough to snowshoe more than once or twice.

In April of 2006 we decided to explore the mountains of west central Oregon when we took these photos of Mount Jefferson.   Mount Jefferson happens to be a volcano not unlike Mount Saint Helens...  The Lake in the foreground is Detroit Lake.

The beautiful turquoise waters of The Breitenbush River north and east of Detroit, Oregon.   Tammy and I doing our best to not avoid the camera. (Doesn't happen very often).
