On a rare sunny day in January 2007 Tammy & I decided to take a trip to Olympic Nat'l Park. While crossing the sound on the Edmonds Ferry we caught this view of Mt Baker.		Looking south towards the snow capped Olympic mountains from the bow of the ferry.

Another view of the snow capped Olympics.		To our surprise we were stopped at the Hood Canal bridge while it was opened from this submarine and it's escort to pass.

Another view of the sub...		We last visited Hurricane Ridge in Olympic Nat'l Park in the fall before the snows came. The view was stunning on this warm, sunny day.

The unusual snow formation against this tree caught our eye in this photo.		A sneak peak of a ridge line to the south and west of the trail we were hiking.
